A Glimpse into the Microcosm

Mundane things contain unseen secrets…if you look close enough.

Flower petals were evolutionary designed to take our attention hostage, and they don’t even need a pistol. Colorful shapes charm our impatient eyes—a flower petal pulls back on the reins of time, so that we can stop and smell the roses. A closer inspection reveals unexpected realities.

The flower petals were punctuated with tiny crimson stripes, however, one stripe turned out to be a little more sinister. The sanguine splotch looked like a dried bloodstain, and that’s not very pretty. Red colors entice our imagination—a story encapsulated inside a speck of detail.

What happened? Was it truly murder?

  1. Perhaps the butler did it as he was serving the spaghetti sauce! The ice cream truck workers may be nutty but the butler is likely to get nuttier working for spoiled brats. On another note, here’s to flower power.

  2. Bloody creative! I hope they got the blood out of the carpet. My hunch is the ice cream truck workers committed the misdeed. Eating sundaes all their lives caused them to go nuts, and they whipped the cream to death. I’ve now got a double scoop ice cream headache. Those cold hearted killers! 🍦
