I know what makes you tick.
I know what keeps you breathing.
Yes.
Your misery hides in your chest.
But I can hear it just fine.
I’ll poke, prod, and push—
Watch you squirm, cry, and shout.
I know everything about you.
Your misery is my fascination.
My scalpel cuts deep.
You’ll never know it.
I’ll dissect.
Bisect.
Extract.
You’ll never feel a thing.
My smile—
Tells you everything is alright.
You’ll believe me.
I’ll get close.
Drag my scalpel upon your misery.
Bleed-out your past.
Collect it in a bowl.
Shhh…It’s okay.
Everything is fine.
Look away.
You’ll learn to love the dizziness.
I’ll prescribe you some medicine—
My smile.
Don’t mind the blood.
Everything is okay.
Just look away.
Argue. Fight. Cry.
It’s everything I want you to do.
Walk away. Come back. Say you’re sorry.
I told you so.
You’ll never learn.
My scalpel will make sure.
Write that prescription for chills and deep cuts please . . .

Dr. Provocation? Yes, I can see that in you. One of your more fascinating and sinister poem. Let’s put the scalpel away for now, Fly.
Here’s a spoon instead for your hot chocolate which you’ll soon be fed 😊

Heyyyy! Why am I Dr. Provocation? I’m a nice guy!…Maybe I’m a past victim!…and I’m simply writing from my doctor’s point of view…yeah! That’s it!
I expect my hot chocolate to be HOT.

I wonder if Trent Reznor could put this to music?

I think Trent forgot to include this song on Pretty Hate Machine! Haha

“Oh doctor I am in trouble, oh goodness gracious me…and so on….” I need a cure, a magic cure , for a secret illness…an illness so secret that it cannot even be hinted at, because Lohengrin and Parsifal are involved and you will know what that means. Oh Doctor xxx
Prince of the night, the fact you got me to write the above shows you the effect of your poem on my senses…You and Words are One.
